Redesigning Offerpad's Offer Letter Experience

for Better Conversion

Project Overview

Offerpad is an iBuyer that makes direct cash offers to homeowners looking to sell without the traditional listing process. After completing a request form, users land on an offer letter experience that walks them through their offer and next steps — but declining conversion rates signaled the 4-page flow was creating friction at exactly the wrong moment. The challenge was consolidating everything into a single page without making it feel overwhelming, while also advocating for the transparency features that would actually build trust with skeptical sellers. The redesign cut average time on task from 2 minutes 59 seconds to 1 minute 3 seconds, 8 out of 10 users preferred the new experience, and it shipped to production.
