Challenge

Product Management came to Design with the desire to design the Charities page so that users had a more effective way to get to the charities details page as well as have a see all the charities they interacted with at a glance.

Approach

Identified improvements to the map and data.

After a kick-off meeting with the PM's, we I was understood that in order to get to the Charities page you had to go through Volunteering which was a bit odd from the IA. However, I saw other issues and took this as an opportunity to push for a change in how the map and data works together

Approach

Ideate

From that deep dive the first thing I identified was that the map and data needed to be better connected.

Final Design and Alignment

After some iterations I was able to nail down the final designs and present to the team. Once I presented the designs to the team, we were all in agreement that the new designs felt more cohesive and offered more of an interactive approach.
